GHA Conference 2012 – Thus it begins!

After much deliberation and debate, the GHA is pleased to announce that the Graduate History Conference has a theme and a date!

This year’s conference is entitled “Networks, Connections, and Exchange: Historical Perspectives,” and will be held Saturday, March 10th, 2012.

Many movements are prompted by exchange and new connections, whether they be the result of cultural, economic, or authoritative shifts. How have cross-cultural networks produced change over time in history? What historical processes led to exchange and new connections between societies, individuals, or institutions? These are only a couple of the questions we will consider as we embark on our Eighth Annual Conference!

In addition, the call for papers is officially out! Please see our 2012 CFP page above for more information.

We look forward to reading your submissions!
